Here are some photos from the Affirmations All Media Show reception at the Pittman-Puckett Art Gallery. There was a great turnout and I was so proud to have my first show in such a great space! Thank you to all family and friends for your attendance. And a big “thank you” also to the staff at Affirmations, especially Charles Alexander, for putting together such a successful night.
First Group Show
My first group show will be at the Pittmann-Puckett Art Gallery (1st floor of the Affirmations Building) in Ferndale, Michigan. The reception is Friday, June 11th from 6:30pm-9:00pm.

Hope to see you there!
PS. Check out the first released photo of the show (below). My “The End is Near” made it into the main gallery! Smack dab in the middle!
Mother-of-an-Update
Ok, two big things have happened or are happening:
1. I got accepted to my first show!!! The Detroit Artists Market Annual Garden Party happening June 17! DAM is interested in “Citrus Life Cycle” AND “Hangover Haircut”… Talk about opposite ends of the spectrum. Go figure!
2. I will be running in my first ever marathon!!! On October 17 I will participate in the Detroit Free Press Marathon as a member of Team In Training. Until then, I will be training hard and trying to raise money for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Please visit my donation page for more information and how to donate!
Call For Entry Madness!!!
With the completion of “Hangover Haircut”, I figured it’s time to be a little more diligent with the process of locating and responding to the many call for entries around the country. Since giving up her alter-ego life as a digital farmhand in the world of Farmville, Lynnette now has time to assist me in sifting through all of cyberspace to find whatever might fit the bill. I’m sending out at least three packages tomorrow. *Fingers crossed*
OK… Last night of the Blowout and I……..am……….spent.
Silverghost at the Gates of Columbus Hall tonight. That’s what I’m talkin’ a-boat.
Blowout
And everything I touch

turns to stone.
Oh wait… Wrong Blowout.
Tonight, it’s Zoos of Berlin again. This time at Paycheck’s Lounge. See you there.
Fun show last night put on by my friends, Computer Perfection to kick off the festivities. Thanks again, Gener Corduroy, for being my wristband benefactor. Without you, I’d be at home tonight, crying myself to sleep.
Hasta,
C*
2nite
Holy crap! Zoos of Berlin AND Silverghost???!!!
Hello Bloggers and Bloggettes
Bear with me… This thing is coming soon!

DAM Garden Party & Art Sale 2010
Well, the DAM Garden Party was a success! The turnout was great, the weather was gorgeous, and the setting was picturesque. The food, drinks, and music were wonderful too! A big THANK YOU to Nancy Sizer, Sarah Balmer, and Matthew Hanna for pulling it all together. Thanks, also, to Peter Ruffner for hosting the event at his beautiful home and garden. Here are some pictures from the evening:
